NikaVika’s philosophy will leave you with chills. To raise a proud, strong and empowered daughter is every parent’s hope and dream. NikaVika strives to make this a reality by creating positive female bonds, teaching and modeling a humanistic approach to life and a true sense of confidence in all of these young ladies.

In this day and age of social media and the negative effect it has on young girls, I was more than willing to bring my daughter to an event hosted by an inspiring athlete. Haley Skarupa’s story encouraged the girls to follow their dreams and reminded them that “anything is possible.” We cannot wait to attend another event through NikaVika. We need more opportunities like this for young girls.

"My daughter and I have had two wonderful experiences with NVSH.  The first was their “Wonder” event.  The speakers were insightful and a message of kindness was received by all participants.  Gretchen ran this event at the height of popularity for the book and movie, making it a fun and educational event.  The second experience we had exceeded all expectations.  My daughter (a hockey player) had the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program with 2018 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Haley Skarupa, which included a fun skating event.  What a thrilling program for all the girls who had the opportunity to be a part of this event.”

What a special organization and group! As a father of two girls and as a coach of young women & girls both in soccer and hockey, I am so glad to connect with NikaVika! The values that the sisterhood instill in these girls and the inspirations that your program and events provide will be carried forth for years by these girls.

It was so inspiring to hear Sam Drazin and Cassidy Nicholas speak and so uplifting to be a part of an afternoon devoted to kindness and inclusion.  We indeed need more of that in the world today.  Thank you for bringing this event to Milton and for welcoming my son to feel comfortable amongst all of the ‘sisters.’  He hasn’t stopped talking about what a nice event it was and has even told his teachers all about it.  You are doing amazing things with NikaVika SisterHood—thanks again for inviting us to be part of it for the afternoon.

Every one of us loved it. It was so great to see all of those young girls participating. What a good feeling we had walking out of the library.  I'll keep spreading the word!

Sam did a great job speaking about what he went through surgery-wise, the social impact, both positive and negative, and some great takeaway and role plays for the girls on how your actions affect other people.  It was based on kindness and compassion.  While this was a girls’ coaching event, I think it would be great for boys and girls.

Thank you for the opportunity to attend the Sam Drazin / Wonder Event at Hearth Pizzeria in Needham.  Sam was a pleasure to hear speak.  What you are doing is really changing the world for girls.  I could not get over how captivated, motivated, and well-spoken all of the young girls were during the presentation.  It gave me hope that our next generation will be filled with strong, capable women.  I do wish you continued success with future programming.
