SISTERHOOD SPOTLIGHTS ILLUMINATE LOCAL GIRLS WHO INSPIRE
By SisterHood Scribe: Gretchen Johnson | Needham Mom
For the past 6 years Beth Anne Willett has put her heart and soul into building an inspiring event in her hometown: The Wellesley STEM Expo. An engineer by day and STEM guru by night, Beth Anne’s mission is to inspire and empower today’s youth through the expo's engaging activities at over 100 exhibits and displays (including one this year from NikaVika....on Training Your Brain, with Noel Foy!). A special treat this year includes a stunning exhibit on loan from New York's Museum of Natural History entitled: “Picturing Science." The Wellesley STEM Expo is free to attend, is great for all ages (not just high schoolers--and not just girls--although you'll definitely see a lot of girl power there!). It takes place this Saturday, April 6th at Wellesley High School from 10am to 2pm, with a fascinating Keynote speaker to follow at 3pm. Congratulations to Beth Anne and her team on an amazing job!
